Design classic: Daumiller dining chair by Gubi
Originally designed in 1977 by Rainer Daumiller for Hirthals Sägewerk, the Daumiller dining chair made of pine wood has become an established classic in the design world. With sustainability in mind, Daumiller deliberately chose pine instead of tropical woods. Not only the choice of materials is well thought-out, but also the generous seat has a deliberate background. The seat and backrests are shaped in such a way that they ergonomically adapt to the contours of the body, making it possible to sit comfortably together.
Material and format
The dining chair is made of FSC®-certified MIX 70% Radiata pine and lacquered. The chair is equipped with felt glides as standard.
The chair measures 48.6 cm in depth, 61.2 cm in width and 77.7 cm in height. The seat height is 45.2 cm, the seat depth is 44.7 cm and the seat width is 46 cm. The height of the armrests is 64.9 cm.
