A valued classic for children's rooms: The CH410 Peters children's chair by Carl Hansen & Søn
The chair was designed in 1944 by Hans J. Wegner as a christening gift for the little son of a friend. The child's chair can be put together playfully - almost like a life-size puzzle - and therefore does not require any screws. Due to its rounded corners it is also childproof and can also be used for playing thanks to this well thought-out design.
The Peter's chair can be perfectly combined with the Peter's table, as both were designed at the same time as a set by Hans J. Wegner. In combination, these pieces of furniture reveal Wegner's innovative spirit, which means that functionality, playfulness and design merge.
Material and format
The chair is made of solid and untreated beech wood. Carl Hansen only uses wood from sustainable forestry for its durable designer furniture, which is processed in the most environmentally friendly way possible.
The chair is 42cm wide, 32cm deep and 47cm high. The seat height is 26cm.
