With its contrasting colours and the cocoon-like roof, the Reina chair brings liveliness and extravagance to your outdoor area - whether on the terrace, in the garden, by the pool or on the balcony. Resembling both a throne and a modern beach chair, Reina becomes an exciting eye-catcher here and inspires in the Limited Edition with extraordinary colour combinations.
Incidentally, the Cartagena collection comes from the pen of German designer Sebastian Herkner. His collection is dedicated to Cartagena, the lively coastal metropolis on Colombia's Caribbean coast, where various Colombian ethnic communities live side by side, creating a urban landscape with a diverse culture.
ames - design that supports!
All products manufactured by ames are created in partnership with Colombian craftsmen. The skills, knowledge and care of the artesanos and artesanas ensure the exceptional quality of the design furniture and accessories. The small and family-run ateliers manufacture by hand with raw materials mostly sourced from the country . For example, the PVC cords for the furniture of the manufacturer are made from recycled plastic.
Material and format
For the Cartagena Reina chair, coloured, recycled PVC cords are woven by hand in the ames studios in Bogota and artfully tied around a steel frame . In the Limited Edition, the Reina chair is available in five expressive colour variations. The chair is 90 cm wide, 82.3 cm deep and 155 cm high.
