Description
The Boby B10 mobile pedestal from B-Line is a joy to move
Even its inventor Joe Colombo probably never dreamed that a mobile pedestal would one day become a design icon. Boby B10 scores with rounded angles, multifunctionality and versatility. Boby is available in different sizes and colours and can be used wherever it is needed: from the study to the workshop.
The design
You can see that the mobile pedestal is a child of the seventies (Boby was designed in 1970 ). The basic material is plastic and the designers at that time made plastic the new trend material for furniture. The Boby mobile pedestal was designed by a design legend: Joe Colombo. Boby won an award immediately after its appearance, the SMAU Award. Furthermore, Boby is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
Material and format
As already mentioned, the Boby mobile pedestals by B-Line are made of plastic, more precisely of injection-moulded ABS plastic. The frame made of ABS plastic consists of modules with pull-out compartments and shelves. There are five castors underneath the trolley.
The small Boby B10 trolley is 43 cm wide, 31.5 cm high and 42 cm deep. Boby by Joe Colombo weighs 4.9 kilograms.
