Simple and convincing: Bistro Table Standing Table Indoor Vitra
Thanks to the space-saving cross base, the Bistro designer bar table not only looks light and elegant, but also takes up little space. Perfect if you are planning a celebration where many people will be present. The Bistro Table was created together and by the design duo Bouroullec with the Softshell Chair and therefore has the same base.
Bouroullec design duo
What the brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have in common is their love of artistic expression - even if Erwan Bouroullec, who is five years younger than his brother, would just as soon have realised this through music or writing. But after studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Ronan Bouroullec founded a design studio in Paris in 1996 and brought his brother Erwan on board a few years later after his art studies.
Their unique creations have earned the brothers numerous awards, such as the "Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris" in 1998 or the "Finn-Juhl Prize" in Copenhagen in 2008. Numerous exhibitions have also been set up in their honour - all over the world in renowned cities such as Amsterdam, London, Tokyo and Los Angeles.
Material and format
The table is available with various tops, including melamine and oak veneer. The base of all versions is made of sturdy pre-galvanised metal.
