Designer Piero Lissoni

Piero Lissoni is an Italian-born designer and architect with a degree from Milan Polytechnic. He founded his own design studio in 1986 and since then has been designing furniture for manufacturers such as Cassina, Kartell and Flos. His projects often include complete solutions, i.e. complete interiors as well as the design of hotels, offices or private houses. His sources of inspiration are many and varied, and he likes to draw from well-known Scandinavian designers like Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjærholm. Lissoni's principle is never to design anything for a specific function or purpose, but always for people.
