Right in gold: 24 Karat Blau pendant lamp by Ingo Maurer
Definitely a true art object was created with the 24 Karat Blau pendant lamp by the certified graphic designer Ingo Maurer. The rectangular panels can be suspended from the rod cross at different angles through four holes each. This creates a dynamic look that can be individually changed and really brings out the sculptural elegance of the luminaire.
The design lamp creates a warm and friendly light and therefore fits very well above dining tables or in kitchens and living rooms. The acrylic covers are absolutely easy to clean, which is why it can also be used in public spaces such as restaurants or bars without any complications.
Processing
The four covers of the luminaire are individually and handcrafted from gold leaf cast into acrylic glass. The gold leaf is beaten extremely thin - 1/10,000 mm. This allows short-wave blue light to shine through between the molecules, while the yellow-gold light is reflected.
