Simple elegance: 2097 / 30 Chandelier LED by Flos
Based on a classic chandelier, the 2097 chandelier by Flos is a modern version of the popular classic. It provides a diffuse light and creates an industrial charm with its iron and brass arms.
Designer Gino Sarfatti
Gino Sarfatti was born in Venice in 1912. in 1930, he moved to Genoa to enrol in the Faculty of Aeronautical and Maritime Engineering. At the age of 23, Sarfatti was forced to interrupt his studies. He moved to Milan and founded Arteluce in February 1939. Then in 1954, the 1063 and 1065 models were awarded the "Grand Prix" at the X. Triennale with the "Grand Prix", and the model 559 won the Compasso d'Oro of the ADI (Association for Industrial Design). At the end of 1973, Sarfatti decided to sell Arteluce to Flos; he retired to spend his life in his house in Griante on Lake Como. He died on 6 March 1985.
